My husband and I relocated to Bergamo, Italy in 2024. We are dual US-IT citizens — he by birth and me by marriage. Our citizenships were acquired before it all became crazy long waits at the US Consulates to do so. We’ve traveled many times to Italy as well as to Bergamo prior to our move. We’re thankful to be here and for our landing on this side of the pond (with our dog Paolo) to have been relatively stress-free and easy. This blog is a way to document our journey both for ourselves as well as others. It is most definitely a work in progress as I learn my way around WordPress and create the layout and style I envision — they make it sound so simple!
